Door delay
COMPLAINT: Earl Huron, Montgomery
"I hired Ryan's All Glass [in Symmes] to fabricate replacement glass doors for my shower from commonly available materials from Home Depot. They got the materials out to me very promptly.
However, they have been nonresponsive to the mistakes they have made on the project. If they finish the work by the end of the month, it will have been seven weeks since the company and I agreed upon a solution."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want doors that fit to be installed."
RESPONSE: Jeff Grupenhof, general manager, Ryan's All Glass - Symmes
"I've talked to all those involved, including the member. We're trying to correct his existing problem with his shower doors. He apparently installed a universal design shower enclosure and there is a 5-inch overlap on his doors.
We have ordered the parts required and, at no fault of ours, the company sent us wrong material, which the member saw.
I've talked to him and he understands that when the correct material arrives, we will finish job at no additional cost to him from what originally was agreed upon."
STATUS: Resolved
Editor's note: Huron informed Angie's List that Ryan's All Glass made the repairs he requested and he considers the matter closed.
