Cleveland roofing company causes roof leak

Gutter gaffe
COMPLAINT: Evan Karrs, University Heights, Ohio
Ramiro Moreno of R & M Quality Roofing was supposed to replace and fix deteriorated sill plates on my garage walls, and clean my gutters. He didn't clean the gutters, nor did he reattach the siding he removed as part of his sill plate repair. By not cleaning the gutters, my roof leaked.
"Although he had already been paid, Ramiro didn't answer repeated phone calls from me requesting him to fix the job. I had to hire an additional contractor to fix the damage and clean up after his incomplete job.
DESIRED RESOLUTION: I would like to be reimbursed $550.

Neglected Contract
COMPLAINT: Doris Stedmire-Pitts, Cleveland Heights, Ohio
I hired Heights Home Improvement to enclose a porch in order to extend my kitchen. Todd Brakefield failed to perform the services as contracted. I called him about the delay in the work, and he stated he had to pull the permits first. Ten days later, he told me he had a heart attack.
"A week later, he stopped by my home and promised to start work in another 10 days. He failed to show, saying his condition was severe and upon his doctor's advice, he could not do any work. Therefore, I asked for a full refund. He has refused to return my calls and hasn't performed any services.
DESIRED RESOLUTION: I would like a full refund of my $2,340 deposit, plus interest.
