Depending on the project, a group of contractors might work together or with other groups to donate time and materials to get the job done. Angie’s List serves as the liaison between the companies and the nominees, develops news releases and works to get media attention for the companies once the work is under way.
For 2008, we’ve opened nominations up to anyone in the U.S., rather than just Angie’s List members. We’ve traditionally solicited Wishmakers nominations once a year. We’re doing it differently from now on — granting wishes whenever and wherever we can.
